Highlights of this behaviour mentor position;

• Full time role with an immediate start date
• Providing support and guidance t students who are experiencing difficulties in learning due to social, emotional or behavioural problems
• GBP1200 - GBP1350 per month
• South Manchester based secondary school, accessible from the M60

The successful behaviour mentor will work with students across years 7 – 11 on a group or one-to-one basis supporting with any issues and acting as a positive role model. They will support pupils inside and outside of the classroom to remove any barriers to learning due to social, emotional, behavioural issues. This is a full time role with an immedaite start date running on a long term basis. 

Prior experience of working with young people on a paid or voluntary basis is essential and mentoring experience is also an advantage.   

This large mainstream secondary academy has recently become the local secondary provider of choice and has over 800 pupils on roll. In recent Ofsted reports, the school has been consistently judged to be a good school with outstanding features for teaching and pastoral support. The school has modern state of the art facilities, providing a stimulating environment with excellent learning resources and technology.

The school is located in South which links to the immediate surrounding areas of the city centre, Wythenshawe, Altrincham and Sale. The school is easily accessible via Metro links and bus routes from the surrounding areas and for those who drive, the school is easily accessibly by the M60/M56 motorway.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later
