Behaviour Mentor

Bristol & South Gloucestershire

ÂŁ60 - ÂŁ75 a day

Do you think you can help some of the most vulnerable and challenging students?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Behaviour Mentors on behalf of a number of specialist schools within the Bristol and South Gloucestershire areas. Teaching Personnel Bristol have recently signed a partnership agreement with a Pupil Referral Unit in South Gloucestershire and so we are seeking Behaviour Mentors in the Kingswood area in particular, but we also have a number of roles in schools all over Bristol too! There are roles available in both Primary and Secondary sites of the specialist schools.

The role of Behaviour Mentors will incorporate delivering short intervention strategies in meetings to improve behaviour whilst implementing the schools behaviour policy and monitoring progress.

Past successful applicants within these schools have included:

  • Psychology Graduate
  • Ex Military
  • Social Services
  • Ex Police
  • Foster Carer
  • Experienced Teaching Assistant

You will work directly with the schools Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator and the class teachers to ensure all pupils are able to access learning and display positive behaviour.

About the roles:

  • Full time and part time opportunities available
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour is desirable
  • Team - Teach or MAPPA qualification is desirable, however not essential.
  • Earn up to ÂŁ300 per week
  • Supporting students inside the classroom and through outreach projects.
  • Access a range of CPD courses to enhance personal learning and development
