Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in our client school in Basingstoke. This is a full time role to start ASAP (or September depending on your availability).

  • Monday - Friday, 9-3.30
  • Behaviour - Permanent
  • Full Time

The school is an SEMH School in Basingstoke catering for pupils with Behavioural Needs. The school caters for children from 4-16 years old. The school has on-site parking and is easily reachable by public transport.

You will be working within the classroom, supporting the teacher with the lessons. You will be working both on a 1-1 basis and with small groups. The class sizes are small, usually around 6 pupils, and there will also be other TA's in the class. Due to their needs, the pupils can display challenging behaviour and you should be confident supporting this.

Full and Part Time hours available ; ÂŁ9.50ph, ÂŁ57 per day, ÂŁ285 per week

To be successful in this role you should:

  • have experience supporting Challenging Behaviour; either within an education setting or on a personal basis
  • be confident supporting challenging behaviour
  • be flexible and adaptable to working with different ages/classes
