Are You a Behaviour and Engagement Leader?
Teaching Personnel is actively seeking experienced Behaviour and Engagement Leaders to join our network of schools across the region.
If you're passionate about creating positive learning environments and transforming the educational experiences of students with SEMH needs, we want to hear from you.
As a Behaviour and Engagement Lead, you'll take ownership of establishing a positive behavioural culture within your school community. You'll mentor students individually, guide staff teams in implementing structured interventions, and maintain a visible presence to support both learners and colleagues. Your work will extend beyond the classroom—leading rewards systems, spearheading community outreach, and creating meaningful engagement opportunities through work experience and character development initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading pastoral functions and managing behavioural expectations in educational settings
- Strong understanding of SEND Code of Practice, safeguarding, and GDPR
- Familiarity with intervention frameworks such as zones of regulation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- Creative problem-solving approach and genuine commitment to student-centered, inclusive practice
- Experience with assistive technology and adaptive resources

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
