Have you got relevant and up to date qualifications?

Here at Teaching Personnel we are looking for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant who is experienced in working with pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviours.

We are looking for a candidate who is confident, passionate and driven in supporting children and young people with additional needs.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience of working in a classroom and have the ability to support children and young people with SEN; in particular those with Autism, Social Emotional & Mental Health or behavioural issues.

The hours are working from 8:30-3:30, 5 days a week - Term time only.

The positions are challenging, yet rewarding and need someone who is strong in character.

Candidates must have qualifications in Level 3 or equivalent. Having the following qualifications will strength your application:

  • Have access to a vehicle and a full clean licence.
  • Challenging behaviours in the classroom.
  • Classroom management.
  • NVQ SEN teaching Assistant.
  • BTEC level 3 in sports.
  • Other sports related qualifications.

Having the above qualifications is not essential but it is desired.

The roles are to start as soon as possible so if you have a DBS in child workforce only and it is on the Update Service with references to support your career history,  then we can process your documents faster. However if you do not have a DBS then we can support you through the process

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
