Leadership Opportunity | Assistant Headteacher & SENCo | Northamptonshire
Are you an inspiring educational leader with a passion for inclusion and student achievement? We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Headteacher with SENCo responsibilities to join a forward-thinking school in Northamptonshire.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping whole-school strategy while leading and developing the provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on SEND provision and inclusion across the school
- Support the strategic leadership of teaching, learning and curriculum
- Work closely with staff, families and external agencies
- Drive student progress, wellbeing and achievement
- Contribute to whole-school improvement and staff development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete)
- Proven leadership experience within a school setting
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to raising outcomes for all students
Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
