ASC Tutor/1:1 Learning Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are recruiting an English and Maths to work in Middlesbrough with students with ASC and ADHD and additional learning needs. 

Successful candidates will be based in a community centre environment as well as schools and libraries and will begin working with pupils as soon as possible. These roles will vary in duration as the will be dependent on the needs of the pupil, however there are always further opportunities to take on new students. You will have the opportunity to hold as many sessions that suit you and hours can be flexible, sessions are often 2 hours long.

You will be confident delivering English and Maths to a variety of academic abilities and will be confident managing behaviour that challenges including aggression and anxiety. The ideal candidate will be patient and passionate about educating young people with SEN. You will have experience working with ASC and will be confident managing behaviour and routine, the successful candidate will also have a kind nature.

Teaching Personnel can offer up to GBP25 an hour for tuition, pay will vary depending on qualifications - you do not need to be a qualified teacher for this role however if you do not have this qualification you must have at least 2 years experience as a tutor. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
