SEN Teaching Assistant - Sheffield

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for Psychology Graduates with a passion of supporting children and looking to start a career in the education sector. We are particularly keen to speak with individuals who have taken a keen interest in working with children with special educational needs.

The position is based within an SEN school the role would be a challenging but highly rewarding role. Particular personal or professional experience of supporting individuals with SEMH is highly desirable, such as an understanding of the complexities related to this condition.

We require candidates to apply who are passionate in assisting children with EBD to access the curriculum. An understanding and flexible nature is essential, and the school is particularly keen to have candidates who are proactive, empathetic, engaging and creative.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
