In this Early Years LSA post you will be working 1:1 to support the progression and development of a Reception boy who has severe Autism. In this post you will be working and developing through the clear advice and direction of a purposeful Special Educational Needs Coordinator & Class Teacher. The child has some behavioural problems and need support with focus on class-work and social interaction.
Ideally, the SEN school are looking for someone that is resilient, patient and has a caring approach along with a genuine interest in working with children who have additional needs. The role will last the entire academic year. In this post you will be welcoming the wide selection of CPD and training courses that the school has on offer to not just teachers but all the support staff as well.
