The Role:

Successful candidates will:

• Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

• Maintain strong classroom management and a positive learning environment.

• Ensure students remain engaged and on task.

• Follow each school’s policies and procedures.

• Provide clear handover notes at the end of the day.

Work is available on a day-to-day, short-term, and occasional longer-term basis across secondary schools in Salisbury and the surrounding areas.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS/QTLS (for teaching roles) or have relevant classroom experience (for cover supervisor roles).

• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills.

• Be adaptable, professional, and confident working in new environments.

• Have a genuine passion for supporting young people in their education.

• Be reliable and punctual.
