We’re seeking a Physical Education Teacher to support pupils achieve the results they’d be proud of.

A perfect opportunity within a highly established Sixth Form in Cardiff, South Wales   for an enthusiastic and encouraging individual to excel as an Physical Education Teacher.

Role Responsibilities –

  • Delivering compulsory programme of Physical Education to all Key Stage 4 students.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, supporting staff in the delivery of cross-curricular projects and activities.
  • Delivering effective lessons with clear explanations to enable pupils to develop knowledge and skills rapidly.
  • Careful lesson planning.
  • Monitoring students’ progress ensuring support is given wherever needed.
  • Maintaining a positive, inclusive and safe environment that encourages participation.
  • Supporting pupils who may have special educational needs and implement strategies to help them succeed.

What We’re Looking For -

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE.
  • Creative and dynamic practitioner who is keen to contribute to a high-performing and dedicated team.
  •  Passionate about education with a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent organisation, communication and classroom management skills.
  • Strong ability to differentiate lessons effectively to meet and support the needs of learners with Additional Learning Needs.
  • The ability to offer a second subject is of interest; please state this in your application.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
