ASC Teaching Assistant- immediately required- Oldham

A full time position for a Teaching Assistant with extensive experience working with pupils with SEN needs. The position is full time and is intially temporary in the first instance, however there may be opportunity for a more permenant role.

The Setting is an 'Outstanding' Multi Academy Trust which operates across 4 sites in Oldham. Sites cater for individuals between 4 - 19 with a Statement of SEN or an EHCP, on the autistic spectrum and/or have significant communication and interaction difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

The role will involve working in collaboration with a Qualified Teacher to support the optimal development and achievement of all with pupils with SEN. Due to the individual needs of the pupils the ideal Teaching Assistant will be able to demonstrate a genuine commitment to supporting pupils with SEN. We would also encourage applications from Teaching Assistants who have experience delivering specialised targeted interventions to support the optimal development of pupils.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with pupils or individuals with SEN
• Experience working in a School or a Care Home
• A commitment to ensuring that all pupils including those with SEN can achieving their optimal academic potential
