Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a specialist SEN Teacher to work at a 'Outstanding' Primary SEN school in Trafford. The school caters for children aged between 4 and 19 years who are on the autistic spectrum and/or have significant communication and interaction difficulties. They ensure that their children and young people benefit from being a partner in the family of schools within Trafford. The school has strong partnerships with mainstream schools and other community providers.

We are looking to recruit an energetic and highly motivated Key Stage 2 teacher who will relish opportunities to professionally develop and reflect upon their own practice. Applications from committed and enthusiastic NQTs are welcome. It would be advantageous to have knowledge and previous of experience of autism. In addition applicants must:

Be able to demonstrate previous experience in a teaching role at Key Stage 2

Be able to motivate children and build progress and confidence

Possess the emotional and physical resilience necessary when working with young people with a range of complex needs

Have the ability to foster good relationships with other staff, students, parents and the wider community
