Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths teacher looking for your next opportunity in Exeter? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a number of secondary schools in the area to recruit a passionate Maths Teacher to join their teams.

About the Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that help students develop confidence and fluency in mathematics.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 opportunities may be available)
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students
  • Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress
  • Preparing students for GCSE examinations
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
  • Contributing to departmental planning and wider school life

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Has experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
  • Can engage and motivate learners of all abilities
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
  • Is committed, reliable and a strong team player

This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
