Maths Teacher – Exeter

Location: Exeter, Devon
Start Date: September 2025
Position Type: Full-time (part-time may be considered)

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Exeter from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 and contribute to a strong and supportive maths department.

Whether you’re an experienced teacher or a recently qualified ECT, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential

  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies

  • Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development

  • Maintain excellent classroom and behaviour management

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching maths at secondary level (KS3/KS4)

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
