Maths Teacher

Exeter Area

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with schools in the Exeter Area to recruit a Maths Teacher to support pupils across our partner secondary schools.

This opportunity is ideal for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teacher with roles ranging from long-term placements to potential permanent opportunities depending on the school’s needs.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

  • Differentiate lessons to support pupils of all abilities

  • Promote strong numeracy skills and academic confidence

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

The Schools

  • Supportive leadership teams and collaborative Maths departments

  • Clear behaviour policies and strong safeguarding procedures

  • Positive learning environments focused on achievement and progress

  • Conveniently located in and around the Exeter area

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Maths Teacher (QTS/QTLS) or ECT

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics

  • Ability to motivate and challenge learners

  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Commitment to raising standards and supporting pupil progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
