Job Title: Maths Teacher

Location: Exeter and surrounding areas
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)
Contract Type: Flexible – Full-time or Part-time


Flexible Maths Teaching Role – Work Across a Range of Schools in Exeter

Are you a passionate Maths Teacher looking for flexibility, variety, and the chance to make a difference across multiple schools? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Maths educators to join our team and work across secondary schools in Exeter and nearby areas.

This role is perfect for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to broaden their classroom experience, gain exposure to different school environments, and maintain control over their work-life balance.


The Role:

  • Deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 where applicable)

  • Support a variety of schools with short-term, long-term, or day-to-day cover

  • Teach in different classroom settings, adapting to different pupil needs and abilities

  • Promote numeracy, confidence, and problem-solving skills in all learners

  • Work closely with school staff to ensure consistency and continuity for students


We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience in Maths

  • Strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching

  • Confidence managing classroom behaviour and engaging mixed-ability groups

  • Flexible, reliable, and confident working in new environments

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
