Full Description: Looking to kickstart your career in education, build your confidence, or gain invaluable school-based experience before applying for teacher training? We are actively recruiting energetic and reliable Cover Supervisors to manage classrooms, deliver pre-set learning materials, and ensure a positive, productive learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher. No formal teaching qualification is required—just strong confidence, excellent behavior management skills, and a genuine passion for working with young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes across various subjects during short-term teacher absences.

• Distribute pre-prepared work and ensure students remain on task and focused.

• Maintain a calm, safe, and orderly classroom environment following school behavioral policies.

• Collect completed work at the end of the lesson and report back to department heads.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or teenagers (e.g., youth work, sports coaching, tutoring, TA work, or volunteering).

• A confident, authoritative, yet approachable demeanor with fantastic classroom presence.

• Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility for daily or advance-booked assignments.

• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through us).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
