A larger than average primary school which has previously been graded as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, located within the Orrell are is currently looking to appoint an experienced, hardworking Teaching Assistant to join their happy, successful school. As part of the role you will be supporting a child with autism in their KS1 setting. The role would be to start as soon as possible and would have the opportunity to onto contract for the right person.
A successful applicant should:
- Be flexible
- Be enthusiastic
- Be passionate
- Have strong communication skills and be able to wok as part of a team
- Have expectations of what children can achieve and share an ambition, ensuring the very best of children and their families.
- Have effective behaviour management techniques, been able to avoid and deescalate confrontational situations.
- Preferably Team Teach trained
- Have relevant of where you have supported ASC pupils
In turn, Teaching Personnel can offer you;
