ASC Core Curriculum Teacher Required in Peterborough!

We are looking to appoint Core Curriculum Teachers at a brilliant SEN school in Peterborough with particular focus on children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

This school is seeking a Core Curriculum Teacher to support and work with Secondary aged children with ASC. They need a Teacher who has a passion for education and committed to promoting equality, and can deliver confident and meaningful lessons.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT), Overseas Trained Teacher (OTT) or be an Unqualified Teacher with previous Secondary experience
• Previous SEN experience preferably with ASC, if not you must have a desire to work in SEN.
• Engaging and Enthusiastic Personality

Additional qualifications such as Team Teach and Autism Awareness are desirable but not required.

This school specialises in providing outstanding support and education to ASC children aged 4-16. They have a fantastic team of staff who are highly trained and dedicated; and they are looking for someone to join this team. The classes will be taught in small groups of a maximum of 8, and the children will be physically active and are likely to show some challenging behaviour.
