ASC/ADHD Teaching Assistant Wanted

Teaching Personnel is currently working a number of schools based in Nuneaton, who are looking for support staff to work on both a day to day, and long term basis. The school caters for pupils aged 5-16, and has 2 seperate sites. The school caters for pupils with Autism, ADHD and MLD. The class sizes are up to 10, and there will always be a minimum of 3 members of staff within the classroom.

There are a number of roles available, with the school booking a minimum of 3 times a day on a day to day basis. The school are always on the lookout for people available both part-time and full-time. The succesful candidat will have experience working with children or adults with SEN; particularly Autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour. Some one from a strong sporting background would be great; but this is not essential at all. If you are flexible, and adaptible, you may be a perfect fit to work in this extremely rewarding role.

We require a Child workforce only DBS on the Update Service. If you do not have one of these, you can apply for one through Teaching Personnel.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
