Art Therapist required in Croydon

Teaching Personnel works with schools and alternative providers in Croydon, London to support children and young people.
These provisions are currently seeking an Art Therapist to support those students who have special educational needs, namely social, emotional and mental health difficulties, anxiety, depression and trauma.
The post holder will undertake assessments, planning, running and evaluating of art therapy sessions delivered in either individual or group therapy format.
They should have a formal qualification and previous experience with a range of mental health conditions as described above. This experience can be pre-qualification experience if recently qualified.
A positive approach to multi-professional working is one of the main characteristics we are looking for as many of these students are looked after children and so are linked to a number of different professional bodies.
This post will be of interest to art therapists who enjoy creatively responding to a range of clinical needs and are excited by the prospect of taking art therapy forward as a profession.
