Job description

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Apprentice Teaching Assistants to support schools across Lancashire, including Primary, Secondary, and SEN (Special Educational Needs) provisions. 

 

What We Offer: 

  • Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour.

  • Access to CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and training. 

  • Opportunity to enroll in a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification 

  • Specialist training, including Thrive Training – focused on supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs) 

  • A fantastic opportunity to gain experience and work towards a full-time role in education 

  •  

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Applicants must be 18 years or older. 

  • GCSEs in Maths and English (minimum requirement) 

  • Some experience working with or supporting children (desirable but not essential) 

  • A full, enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one 

  • A genuine interest in working in education and supporting pupils’ learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
