SEN Learning Support Assistant
Due to a gap in staffing, a reputable Burnley Primary School are looking to source an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant. The role will commence after the Easter holidays and the successful applicant should have experience of working within the education sector and should be confident in supporting children with varying additional needs. As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you would provide additional aid in lessons whilst also working to ensure that pupils can develop their independence and confidence. The school are looking to employ someone with SEN experience, experience working with ASD may be advantageous, but this is not a necessity. The Primary School is situated in the centre of Burnley and is two-form entry. The school has a supportive and long standing SLT who encourage staff to undertake a variety of CPD courses throughout the academic year.To be considered for the role, you must be passionate about the wellbeing and safety of children. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
