School Administrator – Primary School, Tadworth (Surrey)
Start Date: November, 2025
Contract Type: Temporary (potential for longer term placement)
Salary: £90 - £100 per day
We are working closely with a primary school in Tadworth who are seeking a proactive and organised School Administrator to join their friendly office team to cover a period of absence. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a busy, child-centred environment. The ideal educator should have strong customer service skills, be experienced in administration and be a qualified first aider.
Key Responsibilities:
-Support the preparation and maintenance of pupil records, attendance data, and reports using school systems (such as Arbor).
-Provide efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.
-Act as a first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, delivering a warm and professional service.
-Manage phone calls, emails, and enquiries, maintaining excellent communication across the school community.
-Coordinate staff and pupil correspondence and general communication.
-Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with safeguarding and data protection policies at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
-Holds or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (can be processed through Teaching Personnel).
-Be a qualified first aider
-Previous administrative experience (ideally within an educational setting, but not essential).
-Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems (experience with SIMS & Arbor is key).
-Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
-Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
-A positive, professional attitude and a commitment to supporting the school’s values and community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
