ADHD Experienced Teaching Assistant - Bradford

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant in the Bradford area that is required to carry out specific education work with an individual in Year 6. You will be required to support the team in the delivery of lessons and related educational activities as specified in the pupils' EHCP Plans.

Our client requires you to have an up-to-date understanding of addressing students with a diagnosis of ADHD. The young person in question requires support to start as soon as possible and needs support throughout all aspects of school life. This will include meeting their emotional and social needs as well as academic needs.

The kind of person we have been asked to look for is someone who is robust and resilient. The young person needs a consistent approach to their learning and behaviour ensuring progress is made every day.

As a 1:1 support assistant you will need GCSE grades from A-C in all the core subjects and will have some previous experience of working with young people in this setting.

Applicants must:

• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• Hold a Child Workforce Only DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one - full assistance provided)
• Provide at least two professional or character references
