121 support working need for a Y4 pupil.

One of my clients have been in contact in regards to finding a SENTA to support a child in a Y4 class with SEN needs. The school is located in between New Malden and Kingston so is very accessible by public transport. The school are looking for someone to work with this pupil initially until the end of the academic year, if the candidate is successful then the school would be keeping this candidate for September as well.

The child in question has autism and also some behavioural difficulties, this position has become available as the current TA working with the child is moving out of London. The school have said that the child sometimes has episodes where they get quite frustrated with work that they don't understand, the school are in need of someone that can use their initiative when situations like this arise.

Prior experience working with SEN children is key for this role, the school are looking to appoint someone immediately but will wait for the right person as they understand that the child needs to right fit. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
