1-1 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working with a mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth who is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work within its SEN department from January 2020. This would be working 1:1 with children with Behaviour and Autism on a full time basis who is year 7.

The successful candidate daily duties will include;

• Providing support for children  within lessons
• Use your initiative to differentiate activities to support the student’s individual needs
• Work closely with the class teacher
• Excellent motivation skills

To be a successful candidate for this role you will need to;

• Have previous experience working within a school setting
• Be able to communicate effectively with different members of staff and parents
• Have knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Have a friendly caring personality
