Opportunity – 1:1 Teaching Assistant, Wigan

Daily Pay Rate: £89.44 - £100 (Dependant on experience)

Contract: Full Time, Temporary (with the opportunity to progress into a permanent position)

Teaching Personnel are looking for Teaching Assistants for a Primary School in the WN4 area of Wigan. The school is located just off the M6 and is also easily accessible via public transport.

As a TA you will be required to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils, providing support and collaborating with the class teacher to assist with the effective delivery of lesson plans. They are “Confident in supporting children with additional needs and provide our staff with high quality information and training”. The Wigan & Warrington Team are looking for candidates who are available between 2-5 days per week for supply or long-term cover.

The Ideal candidate will have:

• All candidates will be required to have a DBS on the update service.
• Recent and relevant experience in a school-based environment, across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Recent experience in or ability to provide support to pupils with SEND.
• High level of pupil and classroom management skills and strong ability to support the class teacher.
• Dedication to implement the aims, policies and stated ethos of the school.
