Are you looking for a new primary school teaching assistant role starting immediately?

Teaching Personnel is currently working with a welcoming and friendly primary school in the Grays area of Essex that is searching for a teaching assistant to support a KS2 pupil with Autism (ASC) and ADHD on a 1:1 basis starting immediately. This primary school is a larger than normal 2 form entry school with 3 forms in some year groups, offering a fantastic variety of experience to be gained working with children from all backgrounds and alongside a number of experienced staff.

The successful teaching assistant will live locally in Essex and will have a calm nature, great communication skills and ideally recent experience or training working with primary school pupils with Special Educational Needs or, specifically, Autism or ADHD. Applications are welcomed from teaching assistants of all backgrounds who live locally or are able to travel to Grays for work and even University graduates with little school experience but a proactive and positive personality will be considered!

The role will not be solely supporting this one pupil and you will be able to work with the rest of the pupils in the class, supporting the individual pupil when they need additional support.

Working with Teaching Personnel will provide you with a number of benefits including;

    • The chance to work in an Ofsted rated 'Good' primary school on the journey to 'Outstanding'
    • Access to regular CPD courses such as Team Teach
    • A dedicated consultant whose aim is to ensure that you are supported, happy and enjoying your work
    • Weekly pay via PAYE (no umbrella companies or hidden payroll charges)

To be considered for the role you will need to register with Teaching Personnel with your local Chelmsford consultant. This can be done by applying via the links provided!
