Are you experienced with working with SEN?

Are you looking for a full time TA position in the South Manchester area?

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Primary School in South Manchester, Wythenshawe (M22) to help with the recruitment of an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. The Trafford Primary school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to begin work on a full time basis. The role will be a 1:1 role working with a pupil with Autism who is in year 3. The role is to begin in September for the next academic year

The school are looking for someone who has previous experience of working with autism on a 1:1 basis. They are also looking for someone who will be committed to the role as it is important the child has continuity throughout the school. The role will involve working 1:1 inside the classroom with the child and also be able to support the class teacher when and where necessary. The pupil is none threatening and is very bright but lacks confidence and finds it difficult to fit in socially in and out of the classroom. The school are looking for someone to be able to support the pupils with their work and also bring out their confidence. The school will only consider applicants for the role who have previous experience in this field and can demonstrate a high understanding of the role.

The Trafford Primary school graded "good" in their most recent Ofsted report as of March 2018 during the last academic year. The senior leadership team in the school has been praised for their running of the school and the successful candidate will receive lots of support in the role.
