1:1 ADHD Specialist Teaching Assistant – Corby
Location: Corby
Hours: Full-Time, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary to permanent opportunity

Do you have experience working 1:1 with pupils who need tailored support in a school setting?
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic 1:1 ADHD Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary/secondary school in Corby. This full-time role is to start as soon as possible and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a pupil's educational journey.
The Role:
-
Supporting a pupil with ADHD on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day
-
Helping to implement individual behaviour plans and learning strategies
-
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to track progress and adapt support
-
Creating a calm, structured and positive learning environment
-
Encouraging engagement, focus and independence
Requirements:
-
Experience supporting children with ADHD or similar additional needs
-
A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
-
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
-
A genuine desire to help children thrive in their education
-
DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable:
-
Relevant TA qualification or training in ADHD/SEND
-
Previous experience in a school setting
