Teaching Personnel wins Employer of the Year Investors in People Awards 2021

Teaching Personnel wins Employer of the Year at the Investors in People Awards 2021

Date posted : 24 November 2021

We’re delighted to announce that Teaching Personnel was named Employer of the Year Award: Accredited (250+) at The Investors in People Awards 2021!

We’d like to take the opportunity to thank all our fantastic team of managers and consultants, our client schools, our registered educators, the judging panel at the Awards and Investors in People.

While we came up against some tough competition, our value-driven culture, strong social purpose and empowered workforce shone through and won us the award.

Teaching Personnel runs on a principle of constant collaboration and consultation. Our Employee Round Table and Meet the Leader events foster a culture of access and accountability, while our bi-annual company awards acknowledge and reward employees’ achievements.

Caroline Cheale, Managing Director, commented:

"We are delighted to have won the UK Employer of the Year: Accredited (250+) Award for 2021. What makes this award so special is that it ultimately recognises the hard work and effort across all levels in the business. People are at the heart of everything we do and we strongly believe that learning culture is owned by everyone. This, coupled with a companywide ethos for teamwork, excellence and professional standards means we have created a working environment where people can really thrive and develop".

As a company, we’ve experienced many challenges dealing with the pandemic and its string of school closures. Our employees have worked extremely hard to keep schools supplied with teaching and support staff, while themselves having to adjust to working from home.

Our success in leading our people through this difficult period inspired us to enter the Investors in People Awards. By supporting our staff remotely with training, core development programmes and a renewed focus on employee wellbeing, we helped our employees maintain a sense of forward-motion and morale.

Paul Devoy of Investors in People, commented:

“The Investors in People Awards 2021 was a record breaking year in regards to the number of entries and number of organisations entering, so for every organisation that won, your win will taste a little bit sweeter!

I am so proud of every organisation that entered this year, demonstrating their fantastic commitment to making work better. And as a Winner, Teaching Personnel really stands out amongst the crowd. A huge well done to all involved!”
