Job description

Maths and English Tutor – Birkenhead (CH41)

TP Tutors is looking for experienced and confident Maths and English Tutors to support learners across Birkenhead (CH41).

This role is ideal for teachers or tutors who enjoy working one-to-one and want to focus on helping pupils build strong foundations in Maths and English, while developing confidence and essential skills for school and everyday learning. Many of the learners you’ll support may have gaps in learning, reduced confidence, or require additional support outside the mainstream classroom.

Tuition is delivered face-to-face, either in the pupil’s home or in a local community setting in and around Birkenhead. Sessions are tailored to each learner’s individual needs, allowing you to revisit key topics, strengthen core literacy and numeracy skills, and help pupils progress at a pace that works for them.

You may be supporting pupils who require catch-up support, additional help alongside school learning, or those preparing for assessments who benefit from personalised tuition.
