A step by step guide to our ECT process

Register an account with us

Complete the ECT Pool contact form to get the process started.

Our team contacts you

Your local consultant will get in touch to discuss your needs.

Step 4

Your ECT profile

We build up an in-depth profile of your skills, abilities, and personality, along with your job aspirations.

Step 3

Discuss preferences

We will find out where you want to work and what you want to teach.

Step 5

We find the best schools for you

We take your profile (potentially including a short video introduction) and promote you to schools looking for ECTs in your preferred areas.

Step 6

The Interview Stage. When a school is interested, they will interview you via video link or in-school.

We will make sure you are well prepared for either eventuality.

Step 7

Your September Placement

If you and the school are happy, you will be ready to start work in September.

Step 8

Continued access to training

You will have continued access to our range of training packages and care from your consultant into your NQT year.
