Are you a Youth Worker seeking work in education in the Chorley area?
Teaching Personnel work closely with a Chorley based School which caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, ADHD, Asperger's and pupils who display Challenging Behaviours. The School is smaller than average and currently caters for around 50 pupils between the ages of 10-18 and the School is mixed girls and boys, although they do currently have more boys on roll.
The School is based near the M61 motorway, it has on site parking and close links to the bus route.
The role will start initially on a part time basis and it is likely to become a long term role for the right member of staff. The School are seeking a candidate to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils who may display challenging behaviours and act as a mentor for pupils who are struggling emotionally and/or academically.
The candidate MUST have experience working with pupils with SEMH difficulties and/or challenging behaviours and ideally the candidate will be Team Teach trained, although, this is not essential.
The successful candidate will benefit from:
* Negotiable pay rates ÂŁ50.44 - 55 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
