Youth Worker - Manchester

Youth Worker required to support pupils with any SEMH or behaviour related needs they may have within a number of schools in North Manchester on a flexible basis. Due to the nature of this position there are part time and full time hours available, with the schools able to work around your current availability.

• Full time and flexible part time hours available to work around your current working/education schedule
• Working in a number of secondary schools within the North Manchester area, supporting pupils on both a 1:1 and group basis
• Get paid up to £70 a day, dependent on experience and responsibilities
• Access to further development opportunities through Teaching Personnel's CPD courses.

Whilst working as a Youth Worker, you will be responsible for supporting a number of looked after young people at various schools in the Manchester area. You will be responsible for supporting them on a 1:1 and group basis, this would involve helping them with any issues they have, whether these are learning, behaviour, SEMH or SEN related.

Previous experience working as a Youth worker in a secondary school environment is preferred however we would accept applicants from anybody with experience in a different type of Youth Work role, of if you have any relatable experience in a similar role supporting young people.
