Youth Worker - Hull
Teaching Personnel are working exclusively with a number of Mainstream, SEN and Alternative Provision Schools in Hull and currently seeking to appoint staff available for a September start. A number of the Schools we support with their recruitment, cater for pupils who are unable to access mainstream education, therefore the students may have the following SEN needs:
- Autism (ASC)
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- ADHD
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
- Attachment Disorders
- Global Development Delay (GDD)
- Behavioural Difficulties
The position will involve working 1:1 or in small groups with the students. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with similar needs or be passionate about working with special needs pupils. Candidates that are suited for this type of work, tend to have experience in some of the following areas:
- Criminology
- Youth/Community Work
- SEN experience
- Residential Support Work
- Care Assistant
- Sports Coach
- Sports Graduates
- Team Teach trained staff
- Youth Offending Services
- Mentoring Positions
- Teaching/Learning support Assistant
- Psychology
