Youth Worker

Job description

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking to recruit an experienced SEN Support workers to start as soon as possible. 

You should have a minimum of 2-years experience teaching and supporting post-16 students with complex needs, which include Autism, ADHD and Epilepsy.  The student you will be working with is at P-Level 4. You will be working with him at his registered children’s home based in Sutton Coldfield. Experience dealing with complex ASC is essential. 

Hours will be part time Monday to Thursday 09:00 to 13:30.  

All successful candidates will be required to fund a child enhanced DBS certification on the update service. This involves a one-off payment of GBP40 followed by yearly fees of GBP13. DBS Certification is an essential for ALL work in childcare settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
