Youth Worker
Join a supportive secondary school in Tameside to support young people with their personal, social and educational development. This role is ideal for any candidates looking to secure a full time or part time role on a long term basis.
Highlights of this Youth Worker position;
- Full time and part time roles available, immediate start
- Working on a 1:1 basis and with small groups of students supporting with any personal, social or academic issues
- Pay rate based on experience, GBP1250 - GBP1375 per month
- Tameside based secondary school accessible from the M67 and M60 motorway.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Youth Worker and will act as a positive role model in school, supporting students across years 7 -11. They will work on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to support students with any personal, social and educational issues. We are looking for a passionate and resilient individual who will also be able to support students with any behavioural issues.
Applicants must have Youth Work or relevant experience working with young people aged 11 – 16.
This large 11-16 secondary school is located a short drive from the surrounding areas of Manchester, Stockport and the High Peak and caters to students to a diverse background of students from all areas. The school has a high percentage of students from disadvantaged background and therefore, we are looking for a Youth Worker to provide regular tailored support to students across the age range.
