Youth Worker – Wandsworth
We are looking for youth workers to support in an independent special school in Wandsworth who provide education for pupils who have autism or emotional behavioural needs from the age range of 5- 19 years. This will be providing 1:1 support on core subjects and supporting pupils with managing their emotions and behaviour. You will be required to plan sessions, extensive paid training is provided weekly so we are looking for individuals who have previous experience with behaviour needs or autism and have creative ideas! This will be a temporary to permanent contract of 17 term time weeks; we are looking for passionate support staff, who are looking for a career in special education needs.
Job specification
- Understanding and experience working with behavioural needs and / or autism
- Able to plan and deliver 1:1 sessions on Literacy , Numeracy and Science
- Able to take the national primary and secondary curriculum and transfer into interactive sessions
- Must be available immediately
- Able to commit to working in Hackney during term time 8.30 am to 3.30pm

- GBP70- GBP75 daily rate dependant on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
