Teaching Assistant Salford

  • Full time position from April 2017, working in small groups, on a 1:1 basis and covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

Are you a Graduate looking to complete a Secondary teacher training programme next year? Would you benefit from further experience as a graduate Learning Support Assistant?

If so, Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of our client school in Salford, who are expanding their Pupil Support department from Easter half term.

**Full time graduate Learning Support Assistant position

**Easter half term start, initially until Summer 2017

**Fantastic opportunity to enhance future teacher training applications

**Ofsted rated ‘Good’ School in Salford

**£50 - £60 per day depending upon previous experiences

The school are seeking to appoint highly academic graduates with a range of specialisms to support students in small groups across the subject areas, to ensure they are able to access the lessons. Further to this, you will have the opportunity to build upon their classroom management skills by covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

Within this position, you will be required to work with pupils who display challenging behaviours, and may have additional learning needs which create barriers to education. You will have the opportunity to liaise with teachers and senior members of staff to ensure that students are making sufficient progress.

Our partner school is located near to the M602 motor way, and is easily accessible via public transportation links from the city centre and surrounding areas Leigh, Bolton, Bury and Trafford.
