Exciting Opportunity for Welsh-Speaking Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on a child's life? Join our dynamic team of dedicated professionals in a rewarding role as a Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant across our extensive network of Welsh medium schools in Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan, and RCT.

This position is particularly well-suited for enthusiastic Welsh-speaking sports graduates and coaches. Leveraging their natural coaching abilities, these educators seamlessly integrate into Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings, fostering the development of children's self-confidence and social interaction skills. Acting as positive role models, they adeptly guide students in managing their behaviour and emotions.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS (Teaching Personnel can assist with the DBS application and EWC registration)
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council
  • Provide 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Fluency in Welsh

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
