Youth Intervention Support Workers required ASAP

Teaching Personnel are looking for individuals who are committed to making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.

With your experience in Behaviour Management / SEN / Mental Health you could help young people by giving them a fresh start - an opportunity to see life differently and to change their perspective on life and learning.

This role is not for the fainthearted, but for those who are emotionally resilient, non-judgemental, understanding and patient. These young people range from 5 to 18 years and carry their own emotional baggage, struggle with social interaction and have difficulty in expressing their emotions positively at times.

You'll inspire them to believe in themselves, maybe for the first time. You'll help them overcome barriers to learning and give opportunities they would never have thought they could be exposed to. Most importantly, you'll be that one person who never gave up, always believed and challenged them to do the same.

To be considered to work as a Specialist TA with Teaching Personnel, you will need to:

• Have experience in education at either Primary, Secondary or FE level
• Have experience in managing challenging behaviours
• Think on your feet and easily adapt to various situations
• Be engaging, student-centred and communicate effectively
• Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to Safeguarding and Child Protection

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
