Summary:
Teaching Personnel are actively recruiting for Young Adults Mentor’s within the Kidwelly. As schools are now approaching re-opening, we are awaiting a surge of need for this role within Secondary Schools across the area. We want confident and experienced individuals to be able to excel in this role and showcase their talents with the young adults.
- Are you a confident individual with experience managing a class of secondary students?
- Do you want the opportunity to run a classroom as a Young Adult Mentor?
- Do you have good problem-solving skills and the ability to keep young adults engaged?
- Will you be able to bring experience working with young adults and showcase your skills within a classroom environment?
- Do you have specialist areas you want to be able to explore and utilise?

The role:
To apply for this role you’ll need to be a confident individual with excellent classroom management skills, as you’ll often be managing a class of 20-30 pupils and ensuring that the work is set is completed. Teaching Personnel often offer the role to individuals who are willing to go the extra mile and to those who are looking to get the best out of the pupils.
You would need to be well organised and be available to cover any last minute absences between the hours of 08.30am – 15.30pm. The ability to drive and have access to your own vehicle is preferred for this role.
The necessity for previous teaching experience is not essential as if you do have the right can do attitude for this role and are willing to learn – it will go a long way!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
