A teacher with excellent behaviour management skills is needed to join this Chorlton (M20) based school from January 2020.

This class can be quite challenging and the head teacher is looking for someone who has experience working with SEN and/or children with challenging behaviour. The School do have a strong and consistent behaviour policy which is used effectively to ensure all the children work to their potential. In the class there is a full time Teaching Assistant who will also lead interventions when required.

The ideal teacher will have previous experience of teaching mixed abilities within KS2 and in-depth knowledge of the curriculum at this level. As a KS2 teacher, you will be expected to deliver creative and engaging lessons which motivate pupils across all levels and prepare pupils for up-coming SATs. You will need to be an excellent communicator and confident classroom practitioner for this role.

The Ideal Candidate will:

• Have QTS
• Have experience working with KS2 children, Year 6 in particular
• Be able to commit from January until the remainder of the academic year
