Job description

Year 6 Teaching role maternity cover.

Teaching personnel are working alongside a fantastic primary school based in Woolwich who are seeking an experienced teacher to help support them with a maternity cover position.

The role would be starting in May and would be a full time role for a full academic year (there is scope for this to be extended for the right person) 

You would be running a year 6 class during your time with the school, this would also be a full scale role meaning you would need to plan exciting, engaging and fun lessons, mark the work and attend extra curricular school activities such as school meeting, parents evening etc.

Ideal teacher for the role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience Teaching KS2
  • Fun and engaging style of Teaching
  • Knowledge of the UK primary Syllabus
  • Fantastic knowledge of SEN
  • Experience working with SEN
  • High level of behaviour and classroom management
  • Enhanced child’s workforce DBS on the update service (we can help with this)
  • Safeguarding Training
  • Have an address in the UK and right to work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
