Are you an experienced and enthusiastic teacher ready to inspire and lead a Year 6 class through their final year of primary education?
A welcoming and ambitious primary school on the outskirts of Kirkby is seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their vibrant team this September. This is a full-time role, initially on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent.

What the Role Involves:

  • Full-time teaching responsibility for a Year 6 class
  • Delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Preparing pupils for end-of-year SATs and secondary transition
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and SLT
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress to ensure all learners succeed

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Previous experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 6)
  • Strong knowledge of SATs preparation and KS2 curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management, planning, and assessment skills
  • A positive, growth mindset and enthusiasm for helping pupils reach their potential
