Role: Year 6 teacher

Location: L13, Liverpool

Start Date: October 2025

Contract: Full Time (potential for permanent)

Pay Rate: £120-£232.56 per day (depending on experience)

 

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and community focused primary school in the L13 area to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Year 6 teacher starting in October 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching, preparing pupils for their SATs, and supporting their transition into secondary education. The role offers a supportive environment, excellent resources, and the opportunity to make a real difference in pupils’ academic and personal development.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 6
  • A strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation
  • High expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
