Teaching Assistant – Year 5 (KS2)
Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £13.50 - £14.50 an hour
Start Date: ASAP

Do you have the dedication and skills to make a real difference in the classroom? A Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team, working in our Year 5 (Key Stage 2) class.

The Role:

As a Year 5 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils’ learning in both group and one-to-one settings
  • Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons
  • Help to create a positive, safe and stimulating classroom environment
  • Support children with additional needs to access the curriculum
  • Contribute to the wider school life and uphold our school values

We are looking for someone who:

✅ Has experience working in a primary school (preferably KS2)
✅ Demonstrates a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning
✅ Is proactive, flexible, and works well as part of a team
✅ Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Holds relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA qualification or equivalent)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
