Teaching Personnel are working alongside a school in the Woolwich area who are looking to recruit a Full Time Year 5 Teacher. This role is currently starting in April until the end of the academic year with the possibility of going onto a permanent role for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone who is an outstanding classroom teacher and exemplary practitioner who:

  • Has experience of teaching across KS2- Desirable.
  • Have high expectations and standards.
  • Makes effective use of assessment for learning to support sustained and effective progress for all pupils
  • Is able to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team situation
  • Can demonstrate the drive and skills to raise standards of pupil’s attainment and achievement
  • Has excellent classroom and personal skills
  • Can continue to build and maintain effective relationships with the school and the community
  • Is confident and enthusiastic about teaching- dedicated to the high expectations, successful outcomes and social well-being of every child
  • Is welcoming and willing to encourage a strong partnership with parents and the community
  • Is positive and has an inclusive attitude
  • Is happy to play a full part in the life of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
