Year 5 Class Teacher Required

  • Full time fixed term contract
  • Start date, Easter
  • Little Lever, Bolton, BL2
  • Larger than average sized Primary School
  • Salary (£22,023 - £37,496)

Are you an experienced Year 5 Teacher? Are you looking for a new opportunity, working in a school with a strong team ethic and with a real passion to allow all staff to succeed? Are you looking to make a real difference to pupils who need a positive role model that can inspire and engage?

If so a larger than average primary school located in the Little Lever area, just off Bury Road, is looking to appoint a teacher to join their team of KS2 teachers. The role will be to start from Easter, with the possibility of going on to contract for the right person. The role will be a full time class teacher role with the school keen to appoint as quickly as possible and for someone who is able to take a nurturing approach and have a strong understanding of the school's pupils needs coming from a mixture of backgrounds and how to support them socially and emotionally.

In order to be successful you will need to:

  • Have a strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum
  • Be able to demonstrate good practice, planning and delivering engaging lesson that meet the needs of each individual, inspiring pupils to work independently and strive to succeed.
  • Be able to implement effective behaviour management techniques and have a strong classroom presence.
  • Be a strong communicator and be able to work as part of a team sharing responsibilities.
  • Have a real willingness to make a real difference in pupils learning journeys.
